VITAMIN K


# Vitamin - K is a fat Soluble Vitamin.

# It named by the German work Blood Clotting ( Koagulation)

# It is actually a group of compounds. The compounds appears to be Vitamin K1 & K2.


RECOMMENDED INTAKE:


# 0-6 MONTHS - 2 mg / day

# 7-12 Months - 2.5 mg / day

# 1-3 years  - 30 mg/ day

# 4-8 Years - 55 mg / day

# 9-13 Years - 60 mg /day

# Girls 14-18 years - 75 mg/day

# Female 19 and above - 90 mg/day

# Boys 14-18 years - 75 mg/ day

# Male 19 and above - 120 mg/ day
