 Glaucoma is actually a group of eye disease. It can exist in many forms and can be the result of a number of different factors.

Ways to prevent Glaucoma:

1. Maintain a healthy weight.
2. Keep blood pressure at normal level.
3.Quit smoking.
4. Limit caffeine intake.
5. Prevent over exposure to sunlight.


Foods to prevent Glaucoma

1. Eggs
2. Fruits - orange and yellow fruits like papaya, mangoes, pineapple and fruitd rich in vitamin c - citrus fruits and tomatoes.
3. Green leafy vegetables
4. Nuts and nut oils - wallnuts, Almonds, peanuts
5. Milk
6. Whole grains - fortified cereals
7. Vegetables - carrot, sweet potato
