      BAJRA

  



 * Bajra is one of the millet variety, used in more quantity by the people. 


 * It can grow with less water used and against the heat.



BENEFITS OF EATING BAJRA:

  • Helps to balance body temperature.
  • Rich in protein
  • Helps to maintain water balance in the body.
  • Reduce Acidity
  • Prevents cardio vascular disease
  • Good source of calcium, iron, fiber.

A Recipe for Summer


             Bajra Porridge





INGREDIENTS :


  • Bajra  - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 Lts
  • Salt - As Per taste
  • Buttermilk - 1 cup


Method :



    • Clean the bajra and grind in to powder.
    • Take required amount of water and mix it well 
    • Add salt and boil it
    • When serving mix with buttermilk 
    • Use onion,green chilies as side dish.
